Today is Day 6 of the 6-Day Cycle

    • XC ran at Central Elkader last night and had many PR’s and great effort. Medalists were: Kambria Ries 9th and Noah Valenzuela 2nd.
    • Last night the Volleyball girls took on Alburnett at home.  The Fresh/Soph team started out the night with great focus and strong energy,  and ended up getting the victory in the first two sets! JV was up next and took to the court ready to attack. The girls fought hard and had a lot of great looks,  taking the Pirates into the third set, where we made a great effort to come back from a 5 point deficit. Though we came up short on the third set,  it was a great effort by all! Finishing up the night was the Varsity,  who took control of the game from the very start. We had a lot of great set up plays from our back row and setters,  which allowed our hitters to attack and get the point at the net. With everyone working in unison, the varsity brought in the W in the first three sets! All of our volleyball ladies have made huge strides from the start of the season and should be very proud of their performance last night! We will continue to push ourselves in the gym and look to bring home more W’s in the coming weeks! -Coach Young
    • Middle School Football scores: 8th grade ran into a very talented team from North Linn and lost 52-14, 7th grade only got to play two quarters against a team that had a number of 8th graders and lost 8-0. We have two weeks off until our next games at home against Alburnett on the 29th.
