East Buchanan Community School District 2026-2027 Snow Removal RFP
Interested parties in bidding on East Buchanan’s 2026-2027 snow removal should complete the form below and then bids should be emailed to kkelchen@east-buc.k12.ia.us or hand delivered to Kory Kelchen in the superintendent’s office no later than October 9th, 2026. Any questions regarding the bid can be sent to Mike Timmer at mtimmer@east-buc.k12.ia.us

General information
- Snow must be removed before the start of the school day with students. If there is a delay or cancellation, then snow may be removed from the time when students arrive. On a normal school day, snow should be removed by 7 AM. On a late start, snow should be removed by 9AM.
- Snow should be removed daily, even if school is canceled two days in a row.
- Please see a map on the next page for locations that need to be cleared. Green areas need to be cleared. Yellow areas are places to pile snow.
